Remembering the victims of terrorism

This water fountain is a bronze statue of a headless woman who holds her own severed head in her hands. Water flows from her neck and down her body. It was made by a Belgian sculptor Nicolas Alquin and placed, in 1998, in the garden of museum of armies, next to the tomb of Napoleon in Les Invalides, Paris.
A row of trees and quiet seats close to the water fountain.
